My About Forestry site just received an important makeover. The home page now features content in blog-like fashion. For those who don't know what "blog" means, it's short for "web log," the latest thing in Web page design.

Bottom line: it means the Forestry home page will now feature more timely content. I often run across interesting topics for forestry or breaking news that I would love to write about, but don't have the time to produce a full-length article. Now I can quickly write about these topics so you can stay on top of them. My aim is not to be a source of breaking news, but rather a human filter for you on interesting forest and tree-related topics, whether they are breaking news or not. I don't promise to cover everything that happens, since this isn't a daily newspaper, but you can expect to find more information here of a more timely nature from now on.
